Alexis Duhamelle (DVM, MSc)
Dr Alexis Duhamelle graduated from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort in 2012 and completed the IPSAV internship in zoological medicine at the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2013. He holds an Interuniversity Diploma in Medical Toxicology (toxicological emergencies option) at the Bordeaux poison control centre and a Master’s degree in Data Science (Master TRIED: Data Processing and Exploitation) at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris. He worked for 6 years in exotic animal medicine (including one year as a clinician in zoological medicine at the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire de Saint-Hyacinthe) and 3 years as a Data Scientist in natural language processing (NLP) applied to electronic health reports. Alexis is in charge of the data management and biostatistics department. He is also secretary of OCRvet’s internal Ethics Committee.

Dr. Asma Hamitouche, a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure Vétérinaire d’Algérie joined the OCRvet team in January 2023 during her MSc “Biobanks and Complex Data Management” at the Université Côte d’Azur in Nice where she became interested in the interaction between the fields of Biobanking, clinical research and translational research. She is currently preparing a Master’s degree in Clinical Research at the University of Lille. She is working as a Clinical Research Associate.

Céline joined the OCRvet team in April 2022 as part of her Master Heathcare Business and Clinical Research at ILIS. Since September 2023, she has held the position of Clinical Research Associate. Céline is in charge of setting up and monitoring investigational sites for the management of GCP studies.
Clarissa Zamboni (DVM, PhD)

Clarissa Zamboni (DVM, PhD)
Clarissa (DVM, PhD) joined OCRvet in 2023 and holds the position of R&D and Oncology Research Projects Coordinator. She obtained her PhD at the University of Padova, with a study of Cyclin D1 in canine oral melanoma. She then joined the University of Milan as a post-doctoral researcher in canine splenic angiosarcoma. Dr Zamboni has 10 years’ experience in clinical oncology and 5 years’ experience in preclinical cancer research. Her training focused on all aspects of veterinary oncological diseases. Her aim is to collaborate in the most ethical research possible using companion animals as cancer models for veterinary and comparative medicine.

After graduating from the École Nationale Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort in 1985, Dominique Tierny has 25 years’ experience in veterinary clinical oncology, and research. In 2000, she founded Oncovet, a private referral centre for veterinary oncology. Following her close collaboration with human oncology researchers and practitioners, in 2011 Dominique Tierny founded OCR (Oncovet Clinical Research), now ‘OCRvet’, a veterinary clinical research company specialising in the design and monitoring of clinical trials on companion animals suffering from diseases of natural origin, in particular cancer. Dominique Tierny is the author and co-author of numerous publications in the field of comparative oncology. In line with her convictions, Dominique advocates a One Health approach, adopted within the activities of the company she runs, OCRvet, which aim to evaluate the efficacy of new drug candidates, as well as medical devices and nutraceuticals, in the interests of animal and human health.
Emmanuel Bouchaert

Emmanuel joined OCRvet in 2013 as R&D Project Manager, after working at the Pasteur Institute of Lille for 12 years in the team of Pr Bart Staels (Inserm U1011) where he was responsible for in vivo procedures. Within OCRvet, Emmanuel contributes to the development of the histology technical platform and the irradiation platform with animal models in association with private and academic players, assisted by recognised experts (a veterinary anatomopathologist and a veterinary surgeon specialized in radiation oncology).

Emmanuelle holds a doctorate in pharmacy, a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in skin and cosmetic biology and a master’s degree in health product law and policy. She began her career as a clinical research associate and then clinical research auditor before holding various positions in Bayer HealthCare’s regulatory and training departments. She joined OCRvet in November 2023 as Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager.

Fanny worked for 7 years in the Finance-HR department of a Lille-based biotech company. She then spent 5 years as Clinical Manager in a Veterinary Oncology Centre. Since June 2019, she has been in charge of Operations at OCRvet. In particular, she is in charge of Financial Operations and Human Resources, and supports Management in implementing strategic decisions.

Gaelle is a Master’s student in Drug and Health Product Sciences, specializing in medical devices, a field in which she would like to develop. She joined the OCRvet team in September 2023 as a Clinical Research Associate on a sandwich course. She will bring her expertise to studies focused on medical devices.

Guillaume holds a Master 2 Research in Health Biology from the University of Caen Normandie as well as a University Diploma (D.U) Clinical Protocols. After a year’s experience in pharmacovigilance at Caen University Hospital, Guillaume joined OCRvet in December 2022 as Clinical Project Manager, where he coordinates clinical studies. His main areas of interest are immunology, oncology and biotherapies.

Juliette graduated in Pharmacy in September 2019. She wanted to specialize in the pharmaceutical industry by completing a Master 2 in Clinical Research. Juliette joined the OCRvet team in November 2019 as Clinical Project Manager. She is in charge of setting up and monitoring national and international studies.

Associated with OCRvet since 2022 being in charge of monitoring clinical trials in Poland. She completed veterinary studies at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and post-graduate studies in clinical trial monitoring and coordination at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. Karolina also works in a 24-hour veterinary clinic for dogs and cats as an internal medicine doctor; her favorite field is critical-care medicine.

Laurène joined the OCRvet team in February 2021 for an R&D Engineer internship as part of her Master 2 Biotechnologies at the University of Lille. She then continued her working in the team with a placement in June 2022 as an R&D/Clinical Project Manager to complete her dual Masters in Business Management and Development at the IAE in Lille. In September 2022, she joined OCRvet as a Clinical Research Associate, continuing her training in clinical research at ILIS. In November 2023, she has been promoted to Clinical Project Manager to expand her areas of expertise. Laurène is responsible for setting up and monitoring national and international studies. Her main area of research interest is oncology.

Since joining OCRvet in September 2023, Manon has been able to put her academic knowledge into practice within the company. Currently on a work-study programme, she is pursuing a Master 1 in Marketing Strategy and Digital Communication at Mbway as a Marketing and Communications Assistant. Manon is delighted to be able to work with the whole team on her assignments.

Clinical Project Manager at OCRvet since February 2023, Mathilde studied Biological Engineering and specialized in the development of innovative medical devices (MDs) as part of her thesis. In particular, she helps our customers set up clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of medical devices. She is also deputy secretary of OCRvet’s internal Ethics Committee. Therapeutic areas: Surgery, Oncology, Rheumatology, Dermatology.

Originally trained as a medical secretary and after 7 great years at the Oncovet veterinary clinic as a secretary, then management assistant and then HR manager, Noémie decided to join the OCRvet team! Freshly arrived since the end of November 2023 as administrative and financial assistant to best assist our Operations Director and to broaden her professional skills, Noémie is delighted to have joined this dynamic and committed team!

Holder of a Master’s degree in Quality Control and Assurance of Medicines from the Faculty of Pharmacy Paris XI, Virginie has over 20 years’ experience in the management of quality management systems and regulatory affairs with Biotechnology companies, and CROs in human and veterinary health. As Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Virginie contributes her expertise to the implementation of OCRvet’s quality policy and objectives and the continuous improvement of the company’s QMS. She also ensures that clinical studies comply with GCP (VICH GL9), and assists OCRvet teams with the regulatory procedures associated with the company’s various activities.
