The Imagine Institute, the École Nationale Vétérinaire d’Alfort and OCR will be holding the “Oncodays” comparative oncology conference in Paris on 27 and 28 March 2020. The aim of this event is to bring together scientists, doctors and veterinary surgeons to discuss topical issues, so that discussions and even collaborative projects can emerge from these days. Last year, more than a hundred participants took part in the programme.
This year’s event will cover topics of general interest: factors in the emergence of cancers and changes in life expectancy, tumour susceptibility genes, and interactions between the microbiota and intestinal immunity. In addition, conferences on topical issues will feature a veterinary surgeon and a doctor/scientist on the same subject: melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, interventional radiology/radiotherapy, cancers and infectious agents in humans and animals. Finally, the latest therapeutic developments will also be discussed, in the form of round tables and debates. We hope that, whatever their ‘background’, each participant will find new impetus in these days!
